
Dana Reising has been appointed Urban Planning Manager for the City of Maumee, where she will lead the City’s planning and development initiatives with a focus on sustainable, community-centered growth.
The appointment was unanimously approved by Maumee City Council unanimously approved the appointment at its May 4 meeting.
Dana brings extensive experience in municipal planning, zoning, and environmental policy. Most recently, she served as a City Planner for the City of Toledo, where she supported development review, prepared staff recommendations for boards and commissions, and provided updates to the zoning code. Prior to that role, she was Toledo’s first Sustainability Manager, leading the development and adoption of the City’s Climate Action Plan and overseeing initiatives related to waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resilient infrastructure.
Dana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s in Geography with an Applied Climatology focus from Michigan State University.
