Maumee City Council formally voted on March 19 not to accept, in its current form, a proposed agreement with Lucas County aimed at providing county-wide Advanced Life Support services.

On Monday, April 1, Maumee City Council unanimously passed a resolution reaffirming the city’s position to decline the Lucas County ALS Agreement, which further explains the reasons why such an agreement is not in the best interest of the residents and taxpayers of Maumee.  The resolution is in response to a letter dated March 28, which Lucas County sent to the partnering jurisdictions, including Maumee.
