The City of Maumee, Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire, is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic and/or Firefighter EMT.
Responsibilities include responding to all emergency medical calls, performing fire prevention tasks, fire suppression, and emergency rescue operations.
Requirements for Firefighter/EMT:
High School diploma or equivalent Ohio EMT Basic or Advanced
Ohio Firefighter I or II CPR/AED certification
Requirements for Firefighter/Paramedic:
High School diploma or equivalent Ohio Paramedic
Ohio Firefighter I or II CPR/AED/ACLS
Candidates must have the ability to remain certified and current in all continuing education requirements as mandated by the City of Maumee EMS Medical Director. Current and valid State of Ohio driver’s license and eligibility for coverage by the City’s vehicleinsurance provider. Applicants shall also be required to pass a physical examination andsubstance screening. An individual who poses a direct threat to the health and safety of himself/herself or others in the workplace will be deemed not qualified for this position.
Hourly Wage: $24.00/hr. FF/EMT
$28.00/hr. FF/Paramedic
