The Maumee Fire Division (MFD) provides emergency medical, fire, and rescue services to the residents, businesses, and visitors throughout the City of Maumee. The MFD was established in 1838, and is extremely dedicated and proud to serve our community.
The MFD consists of one Fire Station, located at 220 Illinois Ave. All Lucas County fire stations are designated numbers to help standardize equipment and response. The MFD is known as “Station 94”. Visitors are welcome Monday through Friday, 7:30 am through 4:00 pm. For other times, please contact us to make an appointment.
The MFD consists of 15 full-time Paramedics, 23 Paid-On-Call Firefighter/EMT/Paramedics, 1 Fire Inspector, 2 Deputy Chiefs, and 1 Fire Chief.
It is the mission of the Maumee Fire Division to provide the community with the utmost diligent and professional service in emergency preparation, response, and recovery in order to preserve and enhance the quality of life in our community, with constant attention to the health and safety of our personnel.
The MFD prides itself on serving our citizens, businesses, and visitors 24 hours a day, each and every day. Our staff provides community risk reduction through education, including station tours, first-aid/CPR presentations, safety presentations, and fire truck visits.
