1. Call to Order

3. Old Business
● Park Audit Reports: Things are being worked on by the service department. Thank you
again for your hard work.
● Calendar: Coming soon: Organizations can let commission members know about
recreation opportunities coming up.
4. New Business
Summer Programming
● Park Pickups: The first or second Saturday of the Month. Picking a park do a cleanup on
and create some engagement. Stay tuned as it will be listed on the Parks and
Recreation Calendar.
Citizen/Community Requests:
● Girl Scout Project request to be built at Rolf Park ( Scout Member Libby Poeppelmeier)
● Maumee Eagles interest in using a park for a location to offer boxed lunches for local
children (More information coming soon and is still in development)
Grants & Funding Opportunities
● ODNR Natureworks Grant has a 7/15/26 Deadline. Up to $150,000 County allocation (for
Lucas County). One park can be picked to use funds received and is the same grant
utilized by the City for Ford Park.
5. Future Agenda Items, Next Steps & Assignments
● Any recommendations to Building Lands and Recreation and/or Council (ODNR
Natureworks grant may need a resolution/recommendation)
6. Commissioner Discussion: Any other items needing brought up or addressed.
