- AED access updates-discussed with Jim Dusseau and Brandon Lobochefski from Maumee Fire Department: AED to be installed outside of Rolf Park Pool where access can be used by MYSA and Express via locker with key.
- Prairie grass/Park Improvements: Chief Joshua Sprow’s contact with Toledo Zoo.
- Rolf Park Pool Parties: discussed with pool manager and it’s being evaluated for Saturday and Sunday evenings.
- Disc Golf: discuss in audit section.

Each member provides brief updates from assigned parks (5 minutes each) of their key findings

4.) New Business
Summer Recreation Programming
- Review each commissioner’s ideas for:
- Feasible programs for Summer 2026/ Volunteer or pilot opportunities
- Cost for residents(if any)?
- Partnerships (schools, community organizations, band, etc.)
Park Requests/Recommendation: Recommendation to close soccer fields in June 2026 for aeration and seeding, with a two week complete rest period ahead of summer programs in July (Maumee Express tryout makeup date is 6/3/26)
Grants & Funding Opportunities
- Identify potential funding sources for updating parks: (example: ODNR Natureworks Grant-July 1st deadline)
- Discuss teams to help research/assign teams to help find grants.

- Any recommendations to Building Lands and Recreation and/or Council (Rolf Park Soccer Fields)
