Strongest Town Community Cookout Relocated to Site Further Down Towpath Trail
The Maumee Strongest Town Community Cookout will take place at the Towpath Trail east of the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge along the Maumee River.
The cookout was previously planned near the White Street parking lot, but the event has been moved to a site closer to the bridge to accommodate tents for the larger-than-expected crowd.
Parking Advisory
Access to the site is available from the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge, the White Street parking lot, and Side Cut Metropark.
Attendees are advised to park throughout Uptown Maumee and walk to the site. In addition to side street parking, First Presbyterian Church (200 E. Broadway) will allow parking in the church lot for this event. Parking is also available in the city administration parking lot, at 400 Conant Street.
Please note that it is a bit of a walk to get to the cookout site from all available parking and with temperatures expected to be extremely high please plan accordingly as you make your way to the event.
