
By passage of Resolution 011-2025 on June 16, 2025, Maumee City Council declared the necessity to provide street lighting throughout the city and to levy an assessment on all benefiting properties. The assessment role showing the cost assigned to each parcel is on file and available for inspection in the office of the Municipal Clerk of the City at 400 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio.
Lighting the streets and ways throughout the city is provided through a contract with First Energy Solutions. Costs are assigned to properties based generally on front footage of a lot and on the type of service provided. The rates used in computing the assessment amounts were determined by Council on September 2, 2025 with the passage of Ordinance No. 017-2025. Letters sent to owners of the following properties were not delivered and notice is hereby provided as required by Ohio Revised Code 727.13:

Assessment amounts are unchanged from prior years and were upheld with the passage of Ordinance No. 017-2025 on September 2, 2025. This notice is provided as required by the Ohio Revised Code. Property owners may object to the method or apportionment of the costs by filing such in writing by September 7, 2025 with the Municipal Clerk at 400 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537. The proposed assessments will be added to property tax bills in 2026, as in prior years.
