The City Council initiated the Master Plan process in 2023, and after nearly two years of work, the proposed draft is now ready for public review. Developed over nearly two years of exploration, testing, and community input, the plan provides a roadmap for sustainable growth and long-term success. The Master Plan sets the stage for growth through a shared community vision. It identifies strategies for:
- City-wide improvements that strengthen infrastructure and services
- Safe, multi-modal transportation options to connect residents and neighborhoods
- Enhanced quality of life for all who live, work, and visit Maumee
On December 1, City Council held the first reading on adoption of the proposed Master Plan.
