Scott Sund
Scott Sund was elected to his first term on Maumee City Council on November 4, 2025.
Scott is no stranger to serving the community. He worked for the City of Maumee for 31 years in the water and sewer department, beginning as a water division employee for 15 years before transferring to the sewer division, where he served as an equipment operator until his retirement in January 2021.
A lifelong resident, Scott grew up in Maumee and graduated from Maumee High School in 1980. He also attended the University of Toledo. Together with his wife, Marybeth, he raised two children in the community and devoted many years to coaching Maumee Little League, girls’ softball, basketball, and track.
Today, Scott and Marybeth enjoy spending time with their children and three grandchildren, continuing their deep connection to the city they call home.
His term runs through December 31, 2029.
