Philip Leinbach

Philip Leinbach was elected to his first term on Maumee City Council in November 2021. He was sworn into office on January 4, 2022, to fulfill his term, which expires December 31, 2025

Philip and his wife Tamara have been pleased to call Maumee home since moving here in 1997.  During his years as a Maumee resident, he has invested in the lives of young people as a coach for Maumee Youth Soccer Association and as an adult leader and merit badge counselor for Boy Scouts of America.  He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Wolf Creek YMCA

Philip has degrees in Engineering and Business Administration from Cornell University.  For the past 27 years, Philip has been employed by a Toledo-based industrial engineering firm, and he currently holds the position Vice President of Technical Services.  Philip, along with his wife Tamra and their three adult children, have enjoyed the fine quality of life that Maumee offers, and he wants to see it continue for the benefit of all Maumee residents.

As a member of council, Philip serves on the Personnel Committee.
