Margo Puffenberger
Margo Puffenberger was elected to her first term on council in 2021. She was sworn into office on January 4, 2022, to fulfill her term, which expires December 31, 2025.
Margo was born and raised in Northwest Ohio, moving to the Toledo area in 2009. She attended Kent State University where she received a BA in Visual Communication Design & a minor in Advertising. Married to her husband Eric for almost 19 years, they have two children, Bennett & Avery.
Margo is a self-employed, award-winning graphic designer, and over the span of her 19-year career has professional experience working as an in-house designer in the corporate, architecture, landscape architecture, urban design & planning industries.
Being from a small town, she believes it’s important for the community to be active and engaged. Since moving to Maumee in 2015, Margo has served on the Maumee Historic Home Tour Committee and she is a member of Maumee Garden Club, Maumee Chamber of Commerce, and Maumee Uptown Business Association, as well as being a part of the Master Plan Committee.
Margo is chair of the Finance and Economic Development Committee and chair of the Environmental and Tree Advisory Commission.
She looks forward to being involved at the City Council level and hopes to assist with making Maumee the best it can be for all its residents.
