Dave Poeppelmeier

Dave Poeppelmeier was elected to his first term on November 4, 2025, bringing a strong background in both community service and business to Maumee City Council. A Maumee resident since 2013 with 3 kids in Maumee City Schools, Dave spent over 20 years as a licensed Physical Therapist before transitioning to a career in real estate, where he currently serves as a Realtor with Keller Williams Citywide in Maumee. His experience helping patients, families, and clients navigate important life decisions has shaped his practical, people-first approach to local government.

His volunteerism has included coaching Maumee Youth Soccer, assisting with Boy Scouts, participating in Maumee Athletics as a Booster Club member, and engaging with the Exchange Club and Maumee Chamber of Commerce.

Dedicated to transparency, fiscal responsibility, and strengthening Maumee’s neighborhoods, Dave is committed to supporting small businesses, improving infrastructure, and ensuring smart, sustainable growth for the city’s future.

His term runs through December 31, 2029.
