
The City of Maumee is accepting applications for the position of Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager works under the direction of the City Administrator. The Human Resources Manager plans, directs, and coordinates human resources activities and staff which includes overseeing employee recruitment, hiring and retention efforts, coordinating benefits programs and Workers’ Compensation management in a public-sector environment. The ideal candidate will serve as a key advisor to leadership and a trusted resource for all city employees.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration or related field is required; Master’s Degree preferred. An HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) highly desired. A minimum of 5 years of human resources experience is required. Experience in municipal or public-sector HR a plus. Experience with benefit administration, collective bargaining, and Workers’ Compensation management preferred.
Salary: $97,879 – $125,573 annually (salary subject to increase in 2026), with excellent benefits.
