ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR – SEWER DIVISION

The City of Maumee is accepting applications for an Assistant Supervisor – Sewer Division position. Under general direction, the Assistant Supervisor – Sewer Division supervises the work of employees and inspects and maintains City sewer systems and pump stations for the division. The main responsibility is to operate and maintain the City’s sanitary and storm sewers. This position also has the responsibility to perform a variety of maintenance duties. Provides general and close supervision for Sewer Division employees. Reports to Supervisor – Sewer Division.

 

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Wastewater Collection Certification-Class 2, CDL license, Class B with Air Brake endorsement or above. Knowledge of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems. Two years of experience with Municipal sewer systems.  Must have a valid driver’s license with driving privileges that meet the City of Maumee’s insurability requirements. 

 

Salary: $75,354 – $97,637 annually (salary subject to increase January 2025). Salary and vacation commensurate with experience.
