The City of Maumee is accepting applications for Sewer Operator positions. The Sewer Operator is responsible for general maintenance activities including servicing, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing the City Sanitary and Storm sewer systems as directed by the supervisor or Assistant Supervisor – Sewer Division. Maintains equipment and buildings required for the job. Reports to Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor – Sewer Division.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Valid CDL license, Class B with Air Brake endorsement or above within six of months of hiring. General knowledge of maintenance equipment. No previous experience, on-the-job training. Must have a valid driver’s license with driving privileges that meet the City of Maumee’s insurability requirements.
Salary: $57,329.60– $71,506.93 annually.
