At the December 1st Maumee City Council Meeting, Chelsea Ziss was sworn in as Maumee’s first woman and youngest mayor. A lifelong Maumee resident, Chelsea attended local schools and now has two children in the district. She was recently appointed to City Council, then elected to a four-year term – both seats she will resign from. She also helped create the Citizens of Maumee Action Committee (CMAC). Professionally, she leads strategy at Inclusity, LLC, where she focuses on building cultures of trust and inclusion.

Congratulations, Mayor Ziss, we are excited for this new chapter in Maumee’s history!
