CITY OF MAUMEE, OHIO
ANTHONY WAYNE TRAIL FENCE BETWEEN FORD STREET AND CONANT STREET
Bids for Anthony Wayne Trail Traffic Fence Between Ford Street and Conant Street will be received by the Department of Public Service, at 400 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio, until 10:00 a.m., local time, on June 1, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
Scope of Work – The City of Maumee is seeking bids from qualified installers to remove and replace roughly 2,308 LF of fence between Ford Street and Conant Street along the southern portion of The Anthony Wayne Trail. The fence should be 7’ high x 8’ wide white vinyl tongue and groove privacy fence panels with bottom rail aluminum inserts, classic style post caps and one 36” gate. It should match the same style as the newer fence that was recently installed along the southern portion of The Anthony Wayne Trail between Gibbs Street and White Street. It should include 5” posts with welded rebar insert in a 10” x 36” concrete footer. Dirt shall be scattered around holes. All adjoining fence lines will be tied back into new fence reusing existing materials. All removed fence should be stacked neatly on pallets and salvaged to The City ofMaumee.

Copies of specifications may be obtained by contacting the Engineering Inspection Manager and will be available for review at the City of Maumee, Public Service Department, 400 Conant St., Maumee, Ohio 43537.
Bids must be submitted in the form of a quote which clearly states the unit pricing for each item and total cost for the order. Current anticipated lead times for each item must be included with the quote. After award, the selected installer will be expected to provide specification for approval by the City prior to placing the order.
Bids may be emailed, faxed, mailed or hand delivered to the City of Maumee on or before the bidding deadline. Bids may be awarded to the lowest, most qualified responsive bid after considering the bidder’s experience, qualifications and/or demonstrated competence.
The City Administrator is authorized to waive any bidding irregularities or technicalities in a bid document submitted and/or waive any requirements in the form of the submitted bid in the best interests of the City of Maumee.
Authorization for purchase is expected on June 6, 2023
