This beloved tradition is the perfect way to enjoy the magic of the season with family and friends:\n\n\nTime: Approximately 6:15 p.m. or after the Holiday Hustle is finished.\nLocation: The Parade steps off at the Maumee Indoor Theater and travels south to West Wayne to Ford Street.\nSpecial Highlights: Expect appearances from local performers\, Santa Claus\, and Grand Marshalls Maumee Mayor Jim MacDonald along with Kid Mayors Sadie Mallin of St. Joseph Catholic School\, Natalie Lewis of Fairfield Elementary\, and Calihan Byers of Fort Miami Elementary.\n\nStreet Closures – the following streets will close at 4:00 p.m.: \n\nConant Street\nWayne Street\nWilliam Street\nFord Street from U.S.24 to Clinic Drive.\nBarricades at US24 and Kingsbury will be in place.  No traffic will be allowed through Kingsbury from US24 to W. DESCRIPTION:PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE  \nCity of Maumee  \nMunicipal Planning Commission \nThe Maumee Municipal Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday\, February 24\, 2025\, at 7:00 pm in accordance with Section 1105.08 of the Maumee Codified Ordinance to consider the following: \n\nModifications to Maumee Code Section 1101.02 Definitions to include definition for Zoning Administrator which includes the Urban Planning Manager.\nModifications to Maumee Code Section 1105.04 to include Urban Planning Manager\, to identify more clearly the duties of the Zoning Administrator and add Certificate of Appropriateness to duties. \nModifications to Maumee Code Section 1130.07 to modify vacant\, abandoned\, or discontinued use from 3 months to 6 months for a residential structure.\nModifications to Maumee Code to show repeal of Section 11340.08 which was repealed by adoption of Section 1143.21\nReview changes and modifications to Chapter 1105 of the Maumee Codified Ordinances.\nText amendment to Maumee code section 1125.11 (a)(4) to allow campus style groupings of buildings with mixed uses on a single site or adjoining sites.\n\nThe hearing will be held in Maumee Council Chambers\, 400 Conant Street\, Maumee\, Ohio 43537 and is open to the public.  The purpose of a public hearing is to obtain comments and input from the general public and affected property owners with regard to possible changes to the Zoning Code and the zoning of the annexed parcel.
