Maumee Police Bike Rodeo

Get ready to roll! The City of Maumee, the Maumee Police Division, and the Maumee Uptown Business Association invite families and cycling enthusiasts to a fun-filled evening of back-to-back bicycle events on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Maumee Municipal Building.

 

Bike Rodeo (6:00 – 8:00 PM)

Young riders ages 4 to 12 are invited to test their skills in a safe and supportive environment at the free Bike Rodeo. Participants will:

• Navigate a fun obstacle course
• Meet Maumee Bicycle Patrol Officers
• Learn key safety tips
• Enjoy free bike repairs, licensing, and giveaways from local community partners

 

Glow Roll (8:30 PM Ride Start | Registration at 8:00 PM)

After the rodeo, light up your bike and join us for the Glow Roll, a glowing group ride through Maumee! With options for every skill level:

• Full Glow Roll: 10 miles at 10 mph (for experienced riders)
• Junior Glow Roll: 5 miles at 10 mph (for developing riders)
• Guppy Glow Roll: A short ride around the block for the littlest cyclists

Note: Helmets are required for all riders.
