The Maumee Environmental and Tree Advisory Commission invites the public to attend “Go Green & Save,” a free presentation designed to help residents find renewable electricity plans that align with both their household needs and environmental values.
The session will be led by Jodi Haney, a lifelong Maumee resident and Professor Emerita of Science Education and Environmental Studies at Bowling Green State University. Ms. Haney will provide practical, step-by-step guidance on how to:
- Compare electricity suppliers
- Understand key contract terms
- Switch to a clean energy provider without interruptions
To actively participate in the hands-on portion of the presentation, attendees are encouraged to bring a recent electric bill and a fully charged device such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
Whether you’re just curious or ready to make the switch, this “Go Green & Save”presentation will leave you informed and empowered to take control of your energy future.
The event is free and open to the public.
